2. In the Physical LDEV text box, enter the cu:ldev format of the LDEV that you want to search and
click the Search icon.
The component selection tree for the XP or the P9000 disk array that has the matching LDEV
component automatically expands to display the LDEV highlighted for your reference. (If the
component list for the selected XP or the P9000 disk array is large, you may have to use the
scroll bar to navigate through the list of components to view the matching component).
In the above image, the physical LDEV 1:00 belongs to the RAID Group 110 for 53036 (P9500
Disk Array).
Managing alarms history
P9000 Performance Advisor maintains the history of alarms for components, if the alarms are already
configured and enabled on them. The history of alarms is displayed for the following time stamps in
the Alarms History table (Figure 10 on page 160 displays the Alarms History table). To view the Alarms
History table, click Alarms in the left pane followed by the Alarms History tab:
1. Time Posted: The time when the performance of a component went beyond or below the threshold
level, and a new record was posted. When a new record is added for a component the first
time, the Time Posted time stamp will be the time when an alarm was configured on the component.
