HP StorageWorks P9000 Performance Advisor Software v5.3 User and Troubleshooting Guide (T1789-96322, August 2011)

NOTE:
The CHIPs and ACPs are applicable only for the XP48, XP128, XP10000, XP12000, and the XP20000
Disk Arrays. They are replaced by the CHAs and the DKAs for the XP24000 Disk Array and the
P9000 disk arrays, such as the P9500.
To view the component data on the Array View screen:
1. Click Array View in the left pane.
2. Click the + sign for Arrays. The list expands to display all the XP and the P9000 disk arrays that
are monitored by P9000 Performance Advisor.
If custom groups are created, they appear under Custom Groups.
3. In the component selection tree, select the XP or the P9000 disk array for which you want to view
the performance and the utilization summary. You can also select the LDEVs grouped in individual
custom groups to view their performance data.

The summary for the selected XP or P9000 disk array is displayed under the following tabs on the
Array View screen:
Performance summary under the Performance View tab (enabled by default).
Configuration summary and volume distribution under the Summary View tab.
Utilization data under the Utilization Summary tab.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that at least one round of configuration and performance data collection is completed for the
selected XP or the P9000 disk array to view the respective array and component details.
Figure 12 on page 203 shows the Array View screen for 53036, which belongs to the P9500 Disk
