IMPORTANT:
The MIX CHIP displays only eight ports and four MPs though there are eight MPs on that board.
The remaining four behave as ACP MPs.
If performance data is collected separately for the DKC, ports, and the RAID groups, through two
different schedules, all the metrics display the latest data as received by the management station,
from either of the schedules. For more information about schedules, see Data Collection Config-
uration on page 51.
Viewing XP and P9000 disk array summary
The summary for the selected XP or the P9000 disk array is displayed under the Summary View tab.
Initially, before you begin configuration collection, only the information related to the XP or the P9000
volumes presented to the host are displayed on the Array View screen. However, when you collect
the configuration and the performance data, the relevant information is displayed under the Summary
View tab, as shown in the following image:
The XP or the P9000 disk array summary includes the following:
DescriptionScreen elements
Model: The model number of the XP or the P9000
disk array.
Micro Code: The array firmware version of the XP
or the P9000 disk array.
RMLIB: The version installed on the host machine.
General Information
A graphical representation of the distribution of
components that are configured in the selected XP or
the P9000 disk array. Appropriate legends are
displayed at the bottom of the XP Volume distribution
Pie chart. Initially, the Volume Distribution is not shown,
as the configuration collection is not yet been initiated.
