3 CLUI commands
This chapter describes the commands in the HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor CLUI. The supported
shell scripts enable you to use CLUI easily.
NOTE: For every CLUI command that you execute, you can use the -auth and provide a valid
user name and password as inputs for -auth. If you do not want the user name and password
that you have provided to be visible on the console, you can execute the properties utility script
(PROPUTILITY) in an interactive mode and provide your user credentials. For more information on
using PROPUTILITY, see “PROPUTILITY ” (page 39).
Syntax conventions
Table 1 (page 16) lists the symbols that are used to depict command syntax. This table supplements
the conventions described in “Typographic conventions ” (page 50).

Supported disk array types
XP and P9000 disk arrays
Description
Displays information about external Logical Unit Number (LUN), such as the logical device number,
Eport, Eseq, and ELDEV. It also displays the vendor information of the array to which the LUN
belongs.
