XP and P9000 disk arrays
Description
Enables you to modify the data retention time, set log levels at or above a particular severity, purge
data based on an array or on a particular date, archive or import performance data, increase the
database size, and set the management station's time zone.
Switches
NOTE: At a given point in time, only one of the “Required” switches can be used.
Required. Purges data from the management station.–purge
Required. Sets the level of log messages to store. It is followed by a number between 1 and 10.–loglvl
Required. Retrieves a list of current database settings.–list
If used with -purge, indicates the day previous to the current day at which to begin purging
data. Cannot be used with -loglvl or -list.
–days
Specify the array serial number.
Must not be used with -loglvl or -list.
–dkc <serial number>
Specify the time and date of the last stored data collection. Cannot be used with -loglvl or
-list.
–et <mm.dd.yyyy
hh:mm:ss>
Specify the address of a management station in the format <http://
path.to.managementstation:<port>> or <https://
path.to.managementstation>.
–ms <URL>
Specify a user name and password pair in the format user name:password.–auth <user:passwd>
Can be used in place of auth.
NOTE: The password file must be created using the encrypt command only.
–pf
Specify the delimiter for delimited display.–d <char>
Displays column headers with the delimiter.–L
Displays data in a readable format.–hr
Prints the usage statement.–?

The format to list items for the P9000 Snapshot metrics for the aggregate command is:

The format to list the average and maximum values for the samples in the time period specified by
the st and et values is as follows:
aggregate [-a] [-st<MM.DD.YYYY hh:mm:ss>] [-et<MM.DD.YYYY hh:mm:ss>]
