HP XP P9000 Performance Advisor Software v5.5 Command-line User Interface Reference Guide (T1789-96338, February 2013)

XP and P9000 disk arrays
Description
Displays the performance data of a given metric for a specified time interval. Based on the metric
used, information can be requested for an array, RAID Group, or LDEV.
IMPORTANT: Since, the ACP/DKA MPs are moved to the MP blades in the P9000 disk arrays,
their MP utilization metrics are not applicable for the P9000 disk arrays and the data for the same
is not displayed.
Required. Specify a CSV list of DKCs, metrics, and items on the DKC for which you want the
aggregated data.
It uses the form Metric:dkc serial:itemlist, or Metric:User Defined Group.
–items<item list>
Item list: A list of LDEVs, ports, ACP Pairs, RAID Groups, or ranges of each
(except for RAID Groups) separated by a "+".
Ranges are in the form lowitem-highitem separated by a "-".
Items must be entered in their string form (case insensitive, no "-" within the port).
For example:
ldev_io_total:20031:1:f4-1:f9+1:fc
port_io_max:10033:CL1E
The RAID Groups format is: <array_sl_no>:<raid group>
For example: raidgrp_io_total:10278:1-1
Specify the lower bound on time.–st <MM.DD.YYYY
hh:mm:ss>
Specify the upper bound on time.–et <MM.DD.YYYY
hh:mm:ss>
Specify the address of a management station in the format <http://
path.to.managementstation:<port>> or <https://
path.to.managementstation>.
–ms <URL>
Specify a user name and password pair in the form user name:password.–auth <user:pass>
Specify the labeled and the delimited output data.–L
Displays data in a readable format.–hr
The output average and maximum values for the returned samples.–a
Specify the delimiter for the delimited output.–d<delim>
Prints all of the supported metrics.–display
Prints the usage statement.–?
For a RAIDGRP_UTIL_OVRALL metric, if you want to view the average and maximum values on a
monthly, weekly, daily, or hourly basis, following are the options that can be used with -a in the
Aggregate command (instead of the -st and -et options):
SyntaxCommand
aggregate -a -items RAIDGRP_UTIL_OVRALL:<DKC>:<RAID_GROUP> m yyyy
mm
Monthly
aggregate -a -items RAIDGRP_UTIL_OVRALL:<DKC>:<RAID_GROUP> w
mm.dd.yyyy
NOTE: Irrespective of the month and year, the day that you specify must correspond to a
Sunday.
