NOTE:
• Ensure that 1 GB free space is available in the management station’s TEMP folder. (TEMP
folder here refers to the folder defined by the user or system environment variable named
TEMP).
• During the un-installation process, the installation wizard stops and starts the Distributed
Transaction Coordinator service, which is a Windows-based service.
To remove the HP XP7 Performance Advisor management station:
1. From the Control Panel in Windows, click Add/Remove Programs.
2. Click HP XP7 Performance Advisor.
3. Click Change.
4. Click Next.
5. Select Remove, and click Next.
6. Click Remove again.
7. Click Finish. A message appears indicating that the removal was successful.
8. Reboot the management station to ensure that the HP XP7 Performance Advisor services are
completely removed.
Post removal instructions
Complete the following steps to remove the HPSS and PADB folders from the management station:
1. Navigate to the HPSS folder and delete the folder.
2. Navigate to the PADB folder and delete the folder.
