Changing your password
Depending on h ow your system is configured, your password is the same as your Windows password
or you have the option to manage your password. The following information applies to users who can
change their password through the Web Interface.
For security reasons, change your password periodically. Change your password immediately after
you log in for the first time.
To change your password for accessing the RISS Web Interface:
1. Click Preferences in the toolbar.
2. Enter your current p assword (Old Password), enter the New Password twice, and then click Change.
Changing your language
To change the language of the user interface:
1. Click Preferences in the toolbar.
2. Enter the language you prefer. Supported languages are English, French, German, Spanish,
Portuguese, Chinese (traditional), Chinese (Taiwanese) , Korean, and Japanese.

Unable to display saved results
Search results are saved for two weeks and then deleted. If you save the results of a query, but
the retention settings delete the files before the end of the two weeks, the results still appear in the
application, but cannot be reloaded from the saved search results. Clicking the saved results displays an
error because the application c a nnot find the saved results on RISS.
