bout options
The About options displays the plug-in version, whether administrative mode is enabled, and where
diagnostic information is stored.
To display the About options:
1. Select Tools > O
ptions > Archive O ptions. The Archive Options panel of the O ptions dialog box is
displayed.
2. Click About.

The About dialog box displays the following information:
Version: Version of the installed plug-in.
Admin Mode : Indicates whether this client is running in administrative mode and is set
externally by system administrators. If set to True, the client is locked and users cannot
change most conguration settings on the client. If set to False, the client is unlocked and
users are able to change many conguration settings.
Logging to: Enter a path and le name to allow diagnostic information to be stored for
support purposes.
3. Click OK to apply any changes and close the About dialog box. Click OK again to close the
Options dialog box.
Troubleshooting: Problems logging in
If you change your Windows password or mail servers, the RISS Outlo ok Interface p rompts you to log in
when you try to search your repository. Providing your current (new) password and mail server updates
your account information (password and m ail server). The following provides background information
to help you understand why this new login information is needed.

After you initialize your Outlook account, these login operations are performed automatically. You are
not prompted for your user name, password, and mail server.
When you open Outlook, you are automatically logged in to Exchange.
When you submit a search query, you are automatically logged in to the system.
Your Windows password is used for logg ing in to Exchange. When you initialize your Outlook account,
your Windows password becomes your RISS password as well.
To resynchronize your RISS login information with your new Exchange login information, the RISS Outloo k
Interface prompts you to p rovide the new information.
