Cache Location
This read-only setting indicates where the offline cache is stored on the user’s
system.
Select Folders
Click to select which folders in the user’s mailbox Cache Manager inspects for
messages.
4. Click OK to apply the settings.
5. From Archive options pa nel of the Options dialog box , select the Enable Offline Cache check box. If
you want to save the options, but not enable Cache Manager at this time, clear this check box.
6. Click OK to save your changes and close the Options dialog box.
Enabling offline cache
When the offline cache option is enabled, Cache Manager runs when Outlook is opened, and searches
and downloads messages in accordance to the offline cache settings.
To enable offline cache:
1. Select Tool
s>Options>ArchiveOptions. The Archive Options panel of the O ptions dialog box is
displayed.

2. To enable offline cache, select the Enabl e O ffline Cache check box. To disable offline cache, clear
this check box.
3. Click OK to save your changes and close the Options dialog box.
Clearing offline cache
To delete all messages stored in the offline cache:
