HP P6000 Replication Solutions Manager CLI Reference (T3680-96071, June 2012)

Specifies the destination log disk group for the DR group. Enclose the text in quotation
marks if the destination log disk group name includes spaces.
DESTINATION_LOG_DISK_GROUP
Required. Specifies the array where the replicated destination virtual disks are
created. There is no default value.
DESTINATION_SYSTEM
Specifies the name of the replicated destination virtual disk that is created when the
source is added to the DR group. The default is to use the same name as the source
DESTINATION_VDISK_NAME
virtual disk, unless there is a naming conflict on the destination array. In such a case,
the destination array generates the destination virtual disk name.
Specifies the destination Vraid level to use for the destination virtual disk. Valid values
are RAID0, RAID1, RAID5, RAID6 or SAME (same as source VD). The default is
SAME. See “Vraid hierarchy” (page 10) for information on redundancy levels.
DESTINATION_VRAID_LEVEL
Specifies the name of the DR group you are creating.DR_GROUP NAME
This switch enables failsafe mode in the new source and destination DR group. When
failsafe mode is enabled, all write operations will be immediately stopped if the
FAILSAFE
connection between the source and destination fails. This switch is disabled by
default. See also NOFAILSAFE switch.
Sets the new DR Group to AUTOSUSPEND ON FULL COPY mode.FULL_COPY_AUTO_SUSPEND
Specifies the name of the source host volume whose virtual disks will be added to
the new DR group. Virtual disks from this host volume are replicated to the destination
HOST_VOLUME
DR group. Destination virtual disks use the same name as the source virtual disk,
and the DESTINATION_VDISK_NAME switch is ignored.
Specifies the log disk group for the DR group. Enclose the text in quotation marks if
the log disk group name includes spaces.
LOG_DISK_GROUP
Specifies the maximum log disk size for the DR group (MB). The default value of the
log disk size depends on the EVA model and firmware versions. EVA selects the
MAX_LOG_DISK_SIZE
optimum log disk size if the default option is selected. The minimum log disk size for
newer EVA models is 5120 MB.
This switch disables failsafe mode in the new source and destination DR group.
When failsafe mode is disabled, all write operations are logged if the connection
NOFAILSAFE
between the source and destination fails. The logs are used for later synchronization
between the source and destination DR groups. Although failsafe mode is disabled
by default, including this switch can provide additional clarity when reviewing
command results or reading a script file. See also FAILSAFE switch.
This switch enables remote replication in the new source and destination DR group,
that is to say, remote replication is not suspended. This behavior is similar to when
NOSUSPEND
the connection between the source and destination DR group is restored. Although
remote replication is enabled by default, including this switch can provide additional
clarity when reviewing command results or reading a script file. See also SUSPEND
switch.
This switch prevents remote replication from automatically starting in the new source
and destination DR group. This behavior is similar to when the connection between
the source and destination DR group fails. See also NOSUSPEND switch.
SUSPEND
Required. Specifies the name of the source virtual disk to be added to the new DR
group. This virtual disk is replicated to the destination DR group. There is no default
value.
VDISK
Specifies the I/O interaction between the source and destination DR groups. The
values are SYNCHRONOUS (default) or ASYNCHRONOUS.
WRITEMODE
Example
add dr_group bk3888 destination_system=s2333 vdisk=corporatephoto
accessmode=readonly ldg=r4445o writemode=synchronous
ADD HOST_AGENT
The ADD HOST_AGENT command adds a host agent to the HP Replication Solutions Manager
server.
