Switches
Specifies the destination access mode for the DR group. The values are none
(default), inquiryonly, or readonly.
accessmode
Defines the async type as basic or enhanced.async_type
Sets the DR group to autosuspend on link down mode (suspend on failover).autosuspend
Specifies the name of the source virtual disk to add to the DR group. When you
use the add_vdisk switch, the software automatically creates the destination
add_vdisk
virtual disk in the destination storage array. When you add a virtual disk, you
can specify two additional switches, destination_disk_group and
destination_vdisk_name. Rules apply; see “Replication guidelines (page
7).
Adds a comment to the DR group. The comment can contain a maximum of 64
characters. If there are spaces in the comment, enclose the comment text in
quotation marks.
comment
Removes the destination virtual disk that corresponds to the source virtual disk.
If you do not specify the delete switch, the software detaches the virtual disk
delete
from the DR group; however, the virtual disk remains in the array. Rules apply;
see “Replication guidelines” (page 7).
Specifies the replicated destination virtual disk name that is created when the
source is added to the DR group. The default has the same name as the source
destination_vdisk_name
unless there is a name conflict. In such a case, the destination name is
automatically generated by the array.
Specifies the Vraid level to use for the destination virtual disk. Valid only when
used with add_vdisk switch. Valid values include VRAID0, VRAID1, VRAID5,
destination_vraid_level
VRAID6, or SAME (default). See “Vraid hierarchy” (page 10) for information
on redundancy levels.
Specifies the destination disk group to use when creating the replicated
destination virtual disk. The default is the default disk group.
destination_disk_group
Specifies the name of the DR group to modify.dr_group name
Reverses the roles of the DR group. The source becomes the destination, and
the destination becomes the source.
failover
Halts all write operation, if the connection between the source and destination
arrays fail. Rules apply; see “Replication guidelines” (page 7).
failsafe
Enables or disables the failsafe link-down/power-up feature.failsafe_linkdown_powerup
Deallocates the group write log and forces each member to do a complete copy
of its contents to its remote partner.
force_full_copy
Sets the DR group to autosuspend on full copy mode.full_copy_auto_suspend
Sets the DR group to no autosuspend on full copy mode.full_copy_no_auto_suspend
Sets the DR group to function as the home of the DR group pair.home
Specifies the log disk size for the DR group (in MB). The default value of the
log disk size depends on the EVA model and firmware versions. EVA selects
max_log_disk_size
the optimum log disk size if the default option is selected. The minimum log disk
size for newer EVA models is 5,120 MB. The supported maximum log disk size
is 2,097,151 MB.
Specifies the name of the DR group.name
Sets the DR group to noautosuspend on link down mode (no autosuspend
on failover).
noautosuspend
Logs all write operations for later synchronization if the connection between the
source and destination arrays fail. Rules apply; see “Replication guidelines
(page 7).
