Select the le and press Delete.
NOTE:
When you select the Remove menu item or press Delete, you are not asked to conrm removal. If you
change your mind after removing a le, add it to the archiving queue again.
Examining properties of a le in the Active-Archive Bin
To examine the Windows le proper ties of a le in your Active -Archive Bin:
Right-click the le and select Properties.
Thesearethesamele properties you see by right-clicking a le elsewhere in Windows Explorer and
selecting Properties. They include general information about the le location, size, attributes, and dates;
security information about access privileges; and summary information such as the document title,
subject, author, and comments. The Properties dialog box varies, depending on your Windows version
and conguration. For more information, refer to the pertinent Windows documentation.
Displaying the archiving status and general settings
To display the archiving status and general settings:
1. Display the My Active-Archive Properties dialog box by choosing any of the following m ethods:
•ClicktheMy Active-Archive icon in the Windows tray.
Select Properties in the shortcut menu of the My Active-Archive tray icon or folder icon.
Select Properties in the My Ac tive-Archive menu of Windows Explorer.
Select Start > Programs > H ewlett-Packard > HP RISS Document M anager > Active-Archive
Monitor, provided automatic archiving is turned on.
2. Click the Import Status tab.
