2. PST Import Monitor displays basic data about the PST process status. To view speciﬁcprocessing

inf ormation, see the follo w ing:

Item Information area:

•Total:T

otal number of item s found in the PST ﬁles so far.

• Processed: Number and percentage of items processed and submitted to RISS.

• Rejected: Nu m b er and p ercentage of items that PST Importer could not process due to errors.

The PST Importer log ﬁle contains error information explaining why the item was rejected.

See "PST Importer log ﬁle" on page 92 for more information.

•Ignor

ed: Number and percentage of items that were not processed because they could not

be submitted to RISS. These items include, but are not limited to, calendar items, tasks,

contacts, and message stubs.

Proce

ssing Statistics area:

• Submitted: Number and percentage of items processed and submitted to RISS.

• Tombstoned: Number a nd percentage of items submitted to RISS and replaced by tombstones

in the PST ﬁles. This number is not cumulative and resets per run.

•Dupl

icates: Number and percentage of items not submit ted to RISS b ecause duplicate items

alre

ady exist in imported PST ﬁles or duplicate items are already archived to RISS.

3. Complete any of the following tasks:

•Tos

top the import process, click Stop Impo rting.

• To collect statistics immed iately, click Refresh Now.

PST Import M onitor automatically collects statistics according to the Refresh Interval speciﬁed.

The default is 10 seconds. You c an change the automatic refresh interval to any whole number
