Description
Enable checks of all
services on a specifichost
Enables all service checks associated with specified host. This does not enable
checks of host, unless you select the Enable for host too check box .
Enter information in the Host Na m e field.
Disable event handler for
aspecifichost
Temporarily prevents Nagios from running the host event handler for specifichost.
Enter informat
ion in the Host Name field.
Disable flap detection for
aspecifichost
Disables flap detection for specifichost.
Enter information in the Host Na m e field.
Adding comments for speci fichosts
If you work with other administrators, you might find it useful to share information about a host that has
problems. If you do not select the Persistent check box, comments are automatically d eleted the next
time Nagios is restarted.
1. In the Host Comments section, click the Add new comment link (
). The External Command
Interface appears.
2. In the Command Options section, enter the following information:
•HostName
• Author (Your Name)
• Comment
3. To retain comment between Nagios restarts, select the Persistent check box .
4. Click Comm it to save changes, or click Reset to clear input fields.
Deleting
all comments for specifichosts
1. In the Host Comm ents section, click the Delete all comments link ( ). The External Command
Interface appears.
2. In the Comm a nd Options section, enter information in the Host Na m e field.
3. To retain comments between N agios restarts, select the Persistent check box.
4. Click Comm it to save changes, or click Reset to clear input fields.
