Managing multipath disk devices
Microsoft pro vides a generic user interface to manage the disk devices that are controlled by MPIO. This
interface, which c an be accessed through the M ulti-Pa th Disk Device Properties page, under the MPIO
tab, enables you to perform basic d isk and path management. Figure 4 shows the Multi-Path Disk
Device Properties page. HP MPIO EVA DSM supports the management infrastructure of the MPIO tab
for features that are applicable to the H P DSM.
To manage the Multi-Path Disk Device through this interface, complete the following steps:
1. Go to Device M a nager and select the MPIO ma nag ed device identified by Multi-Path Disk device.
2. Right-click and select Properties. The Multi-Path Disk Device Properties pa ge displays.
