If Enable auto discovery is selected, the arrays automatically show up in the Managed storage arrays
pane and the associated command devices will show up in the Managed command devices pane of
the Command devices window, if there are no authentication enabled command devices.
If the arrays in the Available Storage Arrays pane have only authentication disabled command devices
presented to the host, they will be moved to the Managed Storage Arrays pane. Otherwise, the arrays
will show up in the Available Storage Arrays pane and the Command Device Credential Setting
window opens, listing all the arrays with at least one authentication enabled command device. For
more information on setting command device authentication, see “Setting command device
authentication credentials” on page 38

Disabling auto discovery
To disable auto discovery, clear the Enable auto discovery check box. This will fill the left pane
(Available storage arrays) with a list of available arrays.
