• Snapshot
Snapshot enables you to create multiple real-time online local copies of logical volumes.
By default, the Resync mode is selected.
NOTE:
The VSS Compliant mode is not applicable for snapshot.
1. Enter the MU# range.
The default MU# range is 3–63, but you can specify a range from 0–63.
NOTE:
If you have selected the MU# range as 0–2 for snapshot creation, the same MU# range
cannot be used for business copy.
2. Select a pool option.
• Default — The first available pool is used to create snapshots.
• Specify PoolId — Lists all the available snapshot pools in the selected array. The se-
lected pool ID is used to create snapshots.
5. Browse to specify the VSS log file path. If you do not specify a log path, logs are created
automatically in the hardware provider installation directory.
6. When finished setting VSS options, click OK.
