Support is provided for the following:
• VSS:
• Multiple Import of Shadow Copies
• Business Copy of Continuous Access Volume
• Auto-recovery and Transactional File System (TxF) Recovery
• Hyper-V Host and Guest O/S (Guest O/S - Shadow Copy creation only)
• VMware VM (Shadow Copy creation only)
• VDS:
• Hyper-V Host and Guest O/S. The unmask/present operation of a LUN to the local host is not
supported on a Hyper-V Guest OS.
• VMware VM. The unmask/present operation of a LUN to the local host is not supported on a
VMware VM.
NOTE:
HP StorageWorks XP VDS and VSS Hardware Providers is supported on VMware ESX Server 3.5
Update 4 and VMware ESX Server 4.0 and later.
