Configuring a trust
relationship for HP SIM in HP
CV EVA
Currently, the SSO feature is disabled for HP CV EVA in HP SIM. However, the following procedure
explains how to configure SSO in HP SIM for HP CV EVA. This feature is enabled in HP SIM 6.0 and
HP CV EVA 9.2.
Adding a trust relationship enables you to automatically log in to HP CV EVA from HP SIM. This
feature is sometimes called SSO. HP CV EVA imports a certificate from a trusted source, such as
HP SIM. Users who are authenticated by HP SIM are then allowed to automatically authenticate by
using HP CV EVA without logging in again.
If you prefer to have HP CV EVA users log in each time, do not create the trust relationship. Click
Uninstall Certificates to remove the trust relationship and require each user to log in to HP CV EVA.
1. Launch HP CV EVA. Go to Server Options, and then click SIM/RSM trust relationships. See
