Customize collections table
When the Customize Collections page appears, a table is displayed that includes the names of all the
collections, if the collection is displayed in the System and Event Collections panel, and if the system
status is displayed in the System and Event Collections panel.
Available buttons
On the Customize Collections page for events, five options are available:
New. This enable you to create a new event collection. With full configuration rights, you can save the
new collection as a shared collection. Otherwise, you can only save it as a private collection. See

Edit. This enables you to modify an existing collection name and its contents. See “Editing event
collectionsfor more information on editing event collections.
Move. This enables you to move collections from one collection to another collection. It can be from a
private to a shared collection or from a shared to a private collection. See “Moving system or cluster
collectionsfor more information on moving system collections .
Copy. This enables you to copy a collection as another collection. See “Copying system or cluster
collectionsfor more information.
Delete. This enables you to delete an existing event collection or system and event combination
collections. With full configuration rights, you can delete a shared event collection. Only empty event
collections can be deleted. See “ Deleting Event Collectionsfor more information.
Set Properties. This enables you to set if the visibility of the collection and its members. See “Setting
properties for a system or cluster collectionfor more information.
Command line interface
Users with
full configuration rights user
can use the mxcollection command to set properties for collections
from the
command line interface
(CLI).
