• The Central Management Server supports Microsoft Windows 2003 International Server - French,

Hardware
Any HP ProLiant with the following configuration:
• Minimum: 1.5-GHz processor with 1 GB RAM
• 1 GB free disk space recommended
• Recommended: 2.4-GHz processor with 2 GB RAM
NOTE: The ProLiant ML/DL 100 series servers do not support HP Insight Remote Support Advanced.
If you are using HP Insight Remote Support Advanced, you must use a ProLiant 300, 500, 700, or
Blade Server.
NOTE: If Microsoft SQL Server is installed on the CMS, an additional 512 MB of RAM should be
installed.
NOTE: HP Netserver platforms can be used for the Central Management Server as long as the Instant
Toptools software is not installed and all other requirements are met.
Software
Database software:
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Standard/Enterprise SP1
NOTE: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 supports 5,000 systems and 50,000 events.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express SP1
NOTE: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express requires .NET 2.0 Framework.
NOTE: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Express supports 500 systems and 5,000 events.
• Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express SP3
• Oracle 10g R2 10.2.0.3 or later
NOTE: You must install the Oracle JDBC driver, version 10.2.0.4. You can download this driver from
the Oracle website at http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/index.html.
NOTE: The Oracle database must be created with Unicode character set of AL32UTF8 and national
character set of AL16UTF16 before installing Systems Insight Manager. The NLS Length must be set to
BYTE. You must also specify the thin client .jar file location. Systems Insight Manager requires Oracle
