WS-MAN This tab enables you to set WS-MAN credentials for all selected systems or set the credentials
individually for each system.
SSH This tab enables you to configure SSH credentials for all selected systems or set the credentials
individually for each system.
Single Sign On This tab enables you to set the trust by certificate relationship.
The System Credentials page is launched as a tool and accesses the task wizard for system selection. If
you are not authorized to configure system credentials on the selected systems, you cannot schedule or run
the tool.
System credentials are not included in the Quick Launch menu by default, but can be added by customizing
the menu. To customize the Quick Launch menu, click Customize in the Quick Launch menu.
All system credentials that have been used successfully by identification to access managed systems appear
when you select System Credentials. The Source column displays where the credential originated from.
For credentials that were created from the Discovery page, Discovery group:
subnet specified
appears.
For credentials that were created from the Global Credentials page, Global appears. For credentials that
were created from System Credentials page, System appears. As certificates are generated on the CMS,
the Credential column for a certificate displays Certificate and the Source column displays HP Systems
Insight Manager. If more than one user name is the same in Global Credentials, a number is appended to
the display user name in the Credentials column, that shows which it is in the series. This number is used
to distinguish the credentials for display purposes only.
System credentials are applied in the following order:
1. System level protocol specific
2. System level Sign-in
3. Discovery level protocol specific
4. Discovery level protocol Sign-in
5. Global Sign-in
