This enables you to specify the printer model to emulate. There are two options:

3812-14
Single-byte printer.
◦
5553-B01
Double-byte printer.
Select the double-byte printer when using double-byte character sets such as Japanese.
National Settings
These options enable you to select the character set to be used. There are separate entries for the
Single Byte Character Set (SBCS) and (if supported) Double Byte Character Set (DBCS). These should
only be changed by the System Administrator. If they have been changed and you wish to restore the
