Managing Superdome Complexes: A Guide for HP-UX System Administrators

Booting and Resetting Superdome Partitions
Procedures for Booting and Resetting Partitions
Chapter 5 243
Step 2. Select the partition you wish to monitor.
Skip this step if you are accessing the GSP using a single-partition-user
account.
If using an operator or administrator account, select the partition to
monitor or select the system VFP to monitor all partitions.
Step 3. View the VFP details for information about the partition and its current
boot state.
The VFP provides information about the partition state, partition
activity, each cell’s state, and each cell’s activity. The VFP updates
automatically as the cell or partition state and activities change.
To exit the VFP and return to the GSP main menu, type ^b (Control-b).
See Chapter 2, “Superdome Console and Service Interface,” on page 33
for details on the VFP and partition console access.
