rad Command Output on Superdome Servers
This section covers the rad command’s output on Superdome servers. For
complete details refer to the rad (1M) manpage.
NOTE When adding or replacing I/O cards use the equivalent SAM procedures,
when possible, rather than using rad.

On HP Superdome servers, the rad command reports PCI card slot
details as shown in the following example output. The rad command
reports details showing the PCI slot (
cabinet-bay-chassis-slot
) and
the corresponding HP-UX hardware path (
cell/sba/lba/device
).
