Updating the Software from an Older Version

If you have an older version of the HyperFabric software, you can update it by installing the

latest version of HyperFabric (B.11.11.05.01 forHP-UX 11iv1 or B.11.23.03.01 for HP-UX

11iv2) over the old one. You do not have to un-install the old version ﬁrst, unless you are

updating from version B.11.00.11 to the latest version (see “Known Problems and

Workarounds” on page 7).

NOTE To make use of the Transparent Local Failover feature available in this version,

you need to conﬁgure the HF2 adapters as card pairs using the clic_init

command or SAM. For more information, see the Installing and Administering

HyperFabric Guide (Part Number: B6257-90052).
