FCC EMI Statement (USA Only)
The Federal Communications Commission (in 47 CFR 15.19, 15.21 and
15.105) has specified that the following notices be brought to the
attention of the users of this product.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a
Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These
limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful
interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial
environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. Operation of this equipment in a residence is likely to
cause harmful interference in which case the user will be required to
correct the interference at his own expense.
This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject
to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful
interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received,
including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Cables used with this device must be properly shielded and grounded,
terminating in either an RJ-45 or 9-pin D-shell connector. Any changes
or modifications to this equipment not expressly approved by the
Hewlett-Packard Company may cause harmful interference and void the
FCC authorization to operate this equipment.
The end user of this product should be aware that any changes or
modifications made to this equipment without the approval of
Hewlett-Packard could result in the product not meeting the Class A
limits, in which case the FCC could void the user’s authority to operate
the equipment.
