primary_address_netmask
Network mask used in the subnet
Acceptable Values: Network mask in dotted-decimal notation.
mipconfig Default: Network mask that is currently used by the
interface.
mipd Daemon Default: None.
advertisement_address
IP address to which Agent Advertisements are sent.
Acceptable Values:
255.255.255.255 (limited broadcast address)
224.0.0.1 (multicast address for all systems on this interface)
mipconfig Default: 255.255.255.255
mipd Daemon Default: None.
challenge_window
(Used only by Foreign Agents.) The number of most recent challenge
values that the Foreign Agent will keep. The Foreign Agent includes a
challenge value (random value) in the Agent Advertisements that is
included in the data that the Mobile Node must authenticate if the
Registration Request includes an authentication extension. The
Foreign Agent changes the challenge value after it is used by a Mobile
Node to avoid replay attacks. The challenge_window determines how
many previous challenge values the Foreign Agent will keep and use
when accepting and authenticating Registration Requests.
Acceptable Values: 1 - 8 (integer).
mipconfig Default: None. If you do not specify a value, the mipd
daemon will use its own default value.
mipd Daemon Default: 2
advertisement_interval
Time interval between Agent Advertisements, in seconds.
Acceptable Values: Any positive integer or floating point decimal
greater than or equal to 1. Ideally at most 1/3 the value of
Advertisement Lifetime (see below).
mipconfig Default: None. If you do not specify a value, the mipd
daemon will use its own default value.
mipd Daemon Default: 1.0.
advertisement_lifetime
Period after which hosts will consider advertisements as expired.
Acceptable Values: Any positive integer or floating point decimal
greater than or equal to 1. Ideally at least 3 times the value of
Advertisement Interval (see above).
mipconfig Default: None. If you do not specify a value, the mipd
daemon will use its own default value.
