iCAP commands
All the iCAP commands can be executed from both operating system and OA command line
interface. The only difference between the two methods of execution is as follows:
While executing icapmodify command from OS, the partition ID parameter must not be
mentioned, the current partition ID is taken as default ID.
While executing icapmodify command from OA, the partition ID parameter must be
mentioned explicitly.
All the commands continue to work from OA command line interface. For more information about

GiCAP
NOTE: In legacy machines TiCAP usage information used to be logged in the partition in HP
Integrity Superdome 2 system this TiCAP usage information will be logged in OA syslog.

NOTE:
Group Manager (GM) and OA of the member complexes in GiCAP group must be in the
same network.
Communication occurs only between GM and OA through SSL certificates, and the partition
details are hidden from Group Manager.
Communication occurs through Port 5989, 80, and 443 so these ports must be open on any
firewalls between the GM and OA.
The CIM Server configuration property enableHttpsConnection must be set to a value of “true
on all GiCAP Group Managers and on all OS instances of all member systems.
While adding HP Integrity Superdome 2 systems(member systems) to a GiCAP group , only
the host name of the Active Onboard Administrator has to be specified.
