Core deactivation occurs only in the default pset on HP Superdome 2. The processor 0 cannot be
taken out from the default pset.
Action: Consider processor reassignment.
Virtual Partitions
OA> poweron partition 2:1
Cannot send poweron request to partition 2:1. Error: No cores to activate.
The virtual partition cannot be powered on if no cores are assigned.
Action: Assign one or more cores to the virtual partition.
OA> vparmodify -p 1:1 -m core::10
Error: vparmodify command failed.
Error: Specified partition is not in the right state to handle online operations.
vparmodify is not allowed when the VPar State is EFI.
Action: When the VPar State is either "ACT" or "DWN", execute vparmodify. In the "DWN"
state, the command can change only the AC value.
