HP Integrity VM Providers—To manage virtual environments with Virtual Server Manager or
any Matrix OE components, install the appropriate provider software from the operating
system media or the VirtualBase bundle.
HP-UX GUID Manager (GUIDMgr)—A client-server based product that allocates and manages
unique World Wide Names for NPIV Host Bus Adapters.
VERITAS Volume Manager—A data storage solution product that can be used to manage the
physical disks on the VSP. For more information, see the VERITAS Volume Manager
Administrator's Guide.
HP Serviceguard—A software product that allows you to create clusters of HP-UX systems for
high availability. For more information, see the Managing Serviceguard manual.
1.9 Using the vPars and Integrity VM documentation
The vPars and Integrity VM product bundle includes several useful sources of information, whether
you are considering how to set up your vPar or VM, or determining how to upgrade the installation.
1.9.1 Integrity VM commands
Integrity VM commands provide a convergence point for vPars and Integrity VM. You can use
Integrity VM commands to create, clone, start, and manage not only VMs, but also vPars. You can
use vPars commands (whose manpages are listed in Table 4 (page 25)) to manage only vPars.
Integrity VM commands provide a superset of features to accommodate both VMs and vPars.
For online information about using Integrity VM commands, see the following manpages on the
VSP system.
