The highlighted vPar version causes the configuration to be unsupported.
Unsupported configurations
The mixed minor version feature does not support the following configuration scenarios:
• Running 11iv1 vPars.
• HP-UX 11i v2 vPars version other than A.04.07.
The only 11iv2 HP-UX environment supported on this feature should have A.04.07 version of
vPar software installed. Any other HP-UX 11i v2 vPar software version is not supported.
• HP-UX 11i v2 vPar Monitor.
In a mixed minor environment running HP-UX 11iv2 with A.04.07 vPar software, the booted
monitor should always be 11iv3, as a11iv2 vPar monitor is not enabled to provide all the
functionality required by 11iv3 vPar environment.
• PA-RISC platform.
Running a mixed minor version in PA-RISC is not supported. This feature is only available on
Integrity (Itanium) platforms.
