made to this tunable.
Modifying the Value
Modify the value of this tunable in response to the volume of disk space and quota error messages
being logged by the client. To see the error messages less frequently, increase the value of this
tunable. To see the error messages more frequently, decrease the value of this tunable.

nfs_write_error_to_cons_only
Description
The nfs_write_error_to_cons_only tunable controls whether NFS write errors are logged to both the
system console and syslog, or to the system console exclusively.
Tested Values
Default: 0 (NFS error messages are logged to both syslog and system console)
Min: 0
Max: 1 (NFS error messages are logged to system console only)

changes made to this tunable.
Modifying the Value
If you find the /var filesystem filled with error messages logged by the syslog daemon on behalf of
NFS, set the value of the tunable to 1.
