Submitting Problem Information to HP
Submitting Problem Information to HP
The following items will be very useful in having HP Support diagnose
problems with your OSI products.
• Result Files - The output created for all your runs of osidiag.
Examples of the recommended file names are /tmp/ftam.res and
/tmp/tran.res.
• OTS Configuration Files - The contents of the following files in
/etc/opt/ots/conf:
• X.400 Configuration Report. If you are using X.400 and experience
problems, type the following:
/opt/x400/bin/x4dump
A file called /tmp/x4dump.sh is created which can be e-mailed or
put on tape.
• X.25 Configuration Report. If you are using X.25 and experience
problems, type the following:
/opt/x25/bin/x25stat -c /tmp/x25.cnf
Print the resulting file.
• LAN Configuration Report. If you are using LAN (802.3 or FDDI) and
experience problems, type the following:
/usr/sbin/lanscan /tmp/lan.cnf
Print the resulting file.
local_app For FTAM problems only.
ots_dests For nodes running over X.25 or NULL internet.
ots_parms In all cases.
ots_routes In all cases.
ots_subnets In all cases.
remote_app For FTAM only.
