Harmless Messages Logged to rc.log After Installation of WBEM
Services
After WBEM Services has been installed as part an Operating Environment
(OE), the following messages are logged to rc.log during WBEM certificate
generation:
unable to write 'random state'
unable to write 'random state'
unable to write 'random state'
Moving /etc/opt/hp/sslshare/file.pem to /etc/opt/hp/sslshare/file.pem.bak
Moving /etc/opt/hp/sslshare/cert.pem to /etc/opt/hp/sslshare/cert.pem.bak
Generating a 2048 bit RSA private key

writing new private key to '/etc/opt/hp/sslshare/file.pem'

What to Do
You can safely ignore the message. The WBEM certificates will be generated
correctly.
Update May Fail Due to Insufficient Disk Space in /opt
If, before updating to the HP-UX 11i v3 March 2009 DC-OE, you resize /opt
to exactly fit update-ux space requirements, the update may fail in a
non-recoverable way after the kernel build. This is due to update-ux space
Known Problems 23
