1. Download the SoftReboot bundle from:
mdepi.ind.hp.com:/pub/FRB/sboot_ncf_bundle_30th.depot
• swinstall -x autoreboot=true -s <bundle location> \*
2. Download the software distributor version to support swinstall with special softreboot flag
from: mdepi.ind.hp.com:/pub/FRB/SD.depot
• swinstall -s <bundle location> \*
NOTE: Login/password: ftp/ftp
Uninstallation
To uninstall SoftReboot solution, run the command:
# swremove -x autoreboot=true SoftRebootEnh
This shall result in removal of SoftRebootEnh product. Kernel enabler patches have to be removed
separately.
NOTE:
• Uninstallation of SoftReboot patches requires normal boot.
• SoftReboot cannot be used during uninstallation of itself.
