3 What is in This Version
This version of X.25 includes defect fixes and enhancements.
The following enhancements are provided in this version of X.25:
1. x25init provides an option to specify the debug logging level for XOT.
2. Configuration of PAD services for X.25 over TCP (XOT) interface.
3. The local and remote fail-over feature is supported over the XOT interface in a Serviceguard
environment.
4. XOT protocol is supported in HPVM environment.

Important
X.25 on Integrity servers may generate an MCA on the RS-530/RS-449 interface of an RAD switch.
For additional details, see “Known Problems and Workarounds” (page 7).
Hardware Overview
This version of X.25 (B.11.31.04) is supported on the following HP-UX systems:
• All HP 9000 (PA) Superdomes
• rp(8400), rp(8420), rp(7420), rp(7410), rp(7405), rp(4440), rp(3440), and rp(3410)
• Integrity Superdomes, Integrity Superdome 2 servers, and Integrity i2 and i4 servers
• NOTE: The HP X.25 HW card (J3525A) is not supported with Integrity i2 and i4 servers.
• rx(9610), rx(8640), rx(8620), rx(7640), rx(7620), rx(5670), rx(4640), rx(3600), rx(6600),
rx(2600), rx(2620), rx(1600), rx(1620), cx(2600), cx(2620), rx(2660).
