Table 1 (page 8) lists the LVM and MirrorDisk/UX defects fixed in the March 2014 release of
HP-UX 11i v3.

Serviceguard packages that make use of LVM 2.2 volume groups need an extended amount
of time to halt in case there is no access to the disks of the volume groups.
This is applicable to VG version 2.2.

Shared volume groups with logical volumes possessing consistency policy ‘NONE’ (lvcreate
–M n –c n) throws the warning message given below, on activation, though the previous
shutdown took place properly.
$ vgchange -a e vgxx
Activated volume group in Exclusive Mode.
Caution: Mirrors might be inconsistent on this LV
"/dev/vgxx/lvol1" due to improper shutdown.
Volume group "vgxx" has been successfully changed.
This is applicable to all 2.x VG versions.
