This sample configuration meets the general architectural rules:
half of the nodes in each data center
half of the storage in each data center
each data center is highly available by itself
multiple nodes if possible
highly available storage
redundant network and Fibre Channel configurations
quorum service is provided by a system at an independent third location
redundant inter-site links (network and storage) are physically routed differently
Best practice:
Routing inter-site network and storage traffic on the same physical media
ensures that heartbeat and storage access between the sites are either both
available or both unavailable.
