1. To invoke the common installer, run the installer command with the configure option, as shown
in this example:
# ./installer -configure
2. When the list of available products is displayed, select the number corresponding to the
product you want to configure, and press Return. You can use this procedure to configure
SFORA.
Select a product to configure:
3. You will be prompted to enter system names on which the software must be installed. Enter
the system names and press Return.
In the following example, host1 is specified as the system name:
Enter the system names separated by spaces on which to
configure SF: host1
4. During the initial system check, the installer verifies if the communication between systems has
been set up.
The installer requires that Secure shell commands are used between systems to execute without
prompting for passwords or confirmations. If the installer hangs or prompts for a login
password, stop the installer and run it again with Secure shell configured for password-free
logins, or configure rsh and use the -rsh option.
5. The procedure checks system licensing, and you can enter additional licenses, if needed.

6. When prompted to configure SMTP notification, enter y to configure SMTP notification and
provide the required information for the SMTP notification:

Enter the full email address of the SMTP recipient

Enter the minimum severity of events for which mail should be sent
to user@163.com [I=Information, W=Warning, E=Error,

You can choose to enter n if you do not want to configure SMTP notification.
7. When prompted to configure SNMP notification, enter y to configure SNMP notification and
provide the required information for the SNMP notification:

Enter the NIC for the SF Notifier to use on host1: [b,?] (lan0) lan0
