In addition to the recommended patches listed in Table 2-1, HP recommends the software products
listed in Table 2-2 for use with VxFS 5.0.1 and VxVM 5.0.1 installations. You can download these

1 If you plan to install Storage Management for Oracle from a Network File System (NFS)-mounted directory, you
must install the ONCplus B.11.31.07.01 software for the HP-UX 11i v3 operating system.
2 Installing the iSCSI Software Initiator B.11.31.02 software resolves issue with the iSCSI devices that were not being
correctly discovered with VxVM at boot time.
NOTE: The ONCplus B.11.31.06 software bundled with the HP-UX 11i v3 March 2009 OEUR
release reports issues with long path names. This causes the installation to fail as the installer
cannot copy files from the mounted directory to the systems on which you want to install Storage
Management for Oracle. To overcome this issue, install the ONCplus B.11.31.07.01 software.
To download the ONCplus version B.11.31.07.01 software, complete the following steps:
1. Go to http://software.hp.com.
2. Search the ONCplus B.11.31.07.01 software.
3. Download the ONCplus version B.11.31.07.01 software for the HP-UX 11i v3 operating
system.
