Software Requirements
• OS Version:
HP-UX 11i Version 2.0 September 2006.
• Required Patches:
— FEATURE 11i bundle (B.11.23.0609.051 or later) includes the patches required by the Veritas 5.0
products.
— PHCO_34191: This patch is required for EnableVxFS.
— EnableVxFS: This bundle contains the following enhancement products:
FSLibEnh Enhancement to LIBC libraries to understand VxFS disk layout Versions 6
and 7.
DiskQuota-Enh Enhancements to various quota related commands to support large uids.
FSCmdsEnh Enhancements to the mount command to support VxFS 5.0.
— PHCO_35304
This patch contains fixes that are required for correct operation of the vxupgrade and
vxfsconvert commands in VxFS 5.0.
— PHCO_34208
The PHCO_34208 patch, is required for System Administration Manager (SAM) to support VxFS
4.1 and VxFS 5.0 file systems.
— PHCO_35129
This patch is required for correct operation of DMP failover functionality.
— PHKL_35130
This patch is required for correct operation of DMP failover functionality, and also to prevent
possible data corruption when using vxdisksetup –iB.
The patches PHCO_35129 and PHKL_35130 should be installed after VxVM 5.0 is installed.
NOTE You must make sure that the EnableVxFS bundle has revision higher than B.11.23.06.
