Web-Based Enterprise Management (WBEM) is an industry wide initiative to unify the
management of system, networks, and applications across multiple and diverse vendor
environments. The WBEM clients use providers to gather information about various subsystems.
The WBEM standard enables the WBEM clients to subscribe to indications, and indication
consumers to receive indications on the occurrence of events of interest on the managed system.
HP-UX WBEM File System Provider
The File System provider obtains file system related information available on an HP-UX system.
This provider supports following classes to obtain information of the files system available on
HP-UX:
• HPUX_HFS — Gathers information about HFS file system.
• HP_VxFS — Gathers information about VxFS file system.
• HP_CDFS — Gathers information about CDFS file system.
• HP_LOFS — Gathers information about LOFS file system.
• HP_NFS — Gathers information about NFS file system.
• HP_MountPoint — Gathers information about the file system mount path.
• HPUX_Mount — Gathers information about the mounted file system.
