Changes in release 5.6
New options and enhancements
The HP Caliper 5.6 release has the following improvements:
Addition of dispersal metrics for Intel® Itanium® 9500 processors.
Issues resolved
QXCR1001231088 Caliper report generation fails with SIGSEGV when the caliper
database is embedded with source information of library/executable.
QXCR1001240591 Caliper instrumented measurements hit assert when target process
runs under a different user id.

New options and enhancements
The HP Caliper 5.5 release has the following improvements:
Support for Intel® Itanium® 9500 processors is added.
A new option --dcache-hits, is added. This option is available only on Intel® Itanium®
9500 processors. This option specifies that Caliper should measure and report dcache load
hits along with misses.
A new option --dcache-stores, is added. This option is available only on Intel® Itanium®
9500 processors. This option specifies that Caliper should measure and report dcache store
misses.
Enhancements to GUI: Support for obtaining "dcache hits" has been added in the Caliper
GUI. A check box has been provided for this purpose.
