Command options have been changed nominally between HP CIFS Client A.01.* and
A.02.*.
Refer to the “Command Option Differences Between HP CIFS Client A.01.* and A.02.* ”
section in HP CIFS Client A.02.01 Administrator’s Guide for details.
• Configuration Parameter Changes
New configuration parameters have been introduced in HP CIFS Client A.02.01. Also,
some parameters used in versions A.01.* have been renamed or obsoleted in version
A.02.01. Refer to “Configuration Parameter Differences” section in HP CIFS Client
A.02.01 Administrator’s Guide for details.
Fixed in This Release
• GID issue with CIFS Unix Extension
An issue has been resolved in the use of CIFS Unix Extensions wherein, when a new file
was created on the remote server, it was given the group id (gid) of the user’s account on
the CIFS Client host, rather than the gid of the user’s login account on the server.
NOTE HP CIFS Client A.02.01 is supported only on HP-UX releases 11i v1 and v2.
