HP-UX 11i Java™ JDK/JRE Version 7.0.09 Release Notes

JDK/JRE 7.0.09 Patch requirements are the same as for 6.0, plus the following patches:
• mpas on HP-UX 11i v2 (11.23) Integrity Systems
On HP-UX 11i v2 (11.23) Integrity systems, to use mpas (java_q4p), patch
PHKL_35552 is required.
• setuid/setgid users
If you use setuid/setgid, you will need to install patches and set up /etc/
dld.sl.com to run your application. For additional information, see “Running Java
with setuid or setgid on HP Integrity Systems” (page 21).
• File-lock failure patches
The following patches are required to fix a problem whereby a file lock fails when
passed beyond the file system supported max file size:
