PV4 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the fourth physical extent(third copy) of the logical extent.
PE4 Fourth physical extent number allocated to the logical extent.
Status 4 Status of the fourth physical extent:
stale or current. For a fully allo-
cated snapshot, the status can be
shared
.
The following columns are displayed if there are at least four mirror copies:
PV5 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the fifth physical extent (fourth copy) of the logical extent.
PE5 Fifth physical extent number allocated to the logical extent.
Status 5 Status of the fifth physical extent:
stale or current. For a fully allocated
snapshot, the status can be
shared.
The following columns are displayed if there are five mirror copies:
PV6 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the sixth physical extent(fifth copy)of the logical extent.
PE6 Sixth physical extent number allocated to the logical extent.
Status 6 Status of the sixth physical extent: stale or current. For a fully allocated
snapshot, the status can be shared.
--- Pre-allocated extents ---
The information about the pre-allocated extents allocated for the logical volume is displayed in the
following columns. Note that this information is only displayed for space-efficient snapshot logical
volumes.
PV Name1 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the first physical pre-allocated extent of the logical volume.
PE1 First pre-allocated physical extent number allocated to the logical volume.
PV Name2 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the second physical pre-allocated extent of the logical volume.
PE2 Second pre-allocated physical extent number allocated to the logical volume.
PV Name3 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the third physical pre-allocated extent of the logical volume.
PE3 Third pre-allocated physical extent number allocated to the logical volume.
PV Name4 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the fourth physical pre-allocated extent of the logical volume.
PE4 Fourth pre-allocated physical extent number allocated to the logical volume.
PV Name5 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the fifth physical pre-allocated extent of the logical volume.
PE5 Fifth pre-allocated physical extent number allocated to the logical volume.
PV Name6 The block device path name of the physical volume that corresponds to the
location of the sixth physical pre-allocated extent of the logical volume.
PE6 Sixth pre-allocated physical extent number allocated to the logical volume.
Compact Listing (-F Option)
The
-F option generates a compact and parsable listing of the command output in colon separated fields
formatted as key=value[,value ...]. The -F option is designed to be used by scripts. The resulting com-
mand output may be split across multiple lines. The output may include new keys and/or values in the
future. If a key is deprecated, its associated value is set to NAM (key =NAM). For the current version of
the lvdisplay command, the lines format is:
LINE 1
The format of Line 1 is as follows:
lv_name=value:vg_name=value:lv_permission=value:lv_status=value:
mirror_copies=value:consistency_recovery=value:schedule=value:
