When manually creating a Recovery Group at the Recovery Site, you must provide an exported
configuration file. See “Exporting Site Configurationsfor more information.
It is recommended that you leave gaps between the start order numbers when specifying Recovery
Group start order values. For example, 1,5,7,9 instead of 1,2,3,4 to accommodate future insertions.
When editing Recovery Groups at the Recovery Site:
You can only change the Recovery Group name, Recovery Group Start Order number, and the
Storage Replication Group name settings. The logical server name setting cannot be edited. If you
must edit the logical server name setting, delete the current Recovery Group and create a new
one.

Deleting a recovery group.
How do I
1. Click the Recovery Groups tab, select a recovery group, then click Delete.
2. Click Yes to confirm.
Notes
When deleting a recovery group, you must make the same changes at the corresponding peer site.
