New and changed information in this edition
This document reflects the features provided by VM Manager Version A.4.1.0 (4.1). New and
changed information in this document includes the following:
Support of HP Integrity VM Version 4.1 (in addition to earlier supported versions of
Integrity VM: 4.0 and 3.5)
NOTE: Features available from VM Manager may depend on the version of Integrity VM
on the VM Host. New VM Manager features described in this document that depend on
features introduced with version 4.1 of Integrity VM are not available when managing a
VM Host that runs an earlier version of Integrity VM.
Version 4.1 of VM Manager supports those features of HP Integrity Virtual Machines version
4.1 that are documented in the Integrity VM Manager documentation. VM Manager version
4.1 is compatible with HP Integrity Virtual Machines version 4.2 but does not support new
features provided by that version of the product.

Likewise, all I/O connections remain active throughout the migration. VM Manager displays
the migration state of a virtual machine (on the VM Host Vir tual Machines and VM
Properties General tabs). You can see whether a virtual machine is migrating to or from
another VM Host. In addition, the VM Properties General tab displays whether the virtual
machine is enabled for online migration (if the VM Host is not licensed or enabled for online
migration, the tab indicates this), and the VM Host General tab displays whether the VM
Host is licensed and enabled for online migration of virtual machines. For more information
about migrating virtual machines, see “Migrating virtual machines” (page 100).
Enhanced support of HP Serviceguard
The VM Host Virtual Machines tab and the VM Properties General tab display a new icon
indicating whether a virtual machine participates as an HP Serviceguard package. If the
